4th Annual Russian River Ride

On Friday, August 28th, 25 cyclists will begin a 100-mile ride from the front door of our family support center in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood of San Francisco up to the Russian River. Saturday will be a day to rest, recover and enjoy a kayaking trip down the Russian River. Sunday is the return trip to San Francisco. In all, each rider will cover about 200-miles as their way to support the Prevention Center and our work.

18th Annual Blue Ribbon Luncheon

Thanks to the generosity of our many supporters, we raised over $640,000! This record breaking amount will support vital services for at-risk children and their families.

This year, we were thrilled to welcome actress, playwright, and social commentator Anna Deavere Smith as our keynote speaker. Her performance, in which she explored the issues of community, character, and diversity in America, moved us all deeply and reminded us of the importance of our work. We were also delighted to have former Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright, join us as a special guest.

17th Annual Blue Ribbon Luncheon – A Great Success!

Inspired by the dynamism and never give up energy of keynote speaker, distance swimmer Diana Nyad, the sold out event raised over $500,000 in support for our programs to help prevent child abuse and keep kids safe.
