How Your Gift Makes an Impact
Everyone has a role to play in strengthening families and keeping children safe. Your donation will truly make a difference! Here’s a sampling of how your gift makes an impact:
$100 — Will provide 20 families with a weekly community dinner to help reduce hunger, isolation, and family stress. We serve over 1,000 nutritious meals every year, and the demand for our emergency food pantry has quadrupled over the past few years.
$250 — Will provide 10 families with food, school clothes, and other essentials for their kids. Our Family Support Center helps parents meet their families’ basic needs and gain economic stability.
$500 — Will provide essentials for more than 350 visits to our Children’s Playroom, including diapers and infant supplies, art supplies, and other necessities that help make our Playroom a therapeutic and welcoming oasis for kids.
$1,000 — Will ensure that more than 500 community members receive essential information about how to keep children safe from child sexual abuse, through our Community Education program.
$2,500 — Will teach 150 elementary school children how to protect themselves in dangerous or coercive situations through a series of empowering safety lessons. Our Child Safety Awareness Program reaches more than 5,500 kids every year.
$5,000 — Will ensure a 24/7 response to more than 150 calls to our TALK Line from parents in crisis. Each year, we handle 15,000 round-the-clock calls from parents and caregivers. Our TALK Line counselors can respond to callers in more than 170 languages through the Language Line®.
